Family Forward is implementing multiple strategies to address Shawnee County's child care shortage. Our success measures include:
- create 451 new child care slots by September 2025
- add 100 employers to the Champions for Child Care roster by December 2025
- add 10 more child care centers to our list of Family Forward employer participants
- build the Family Forward Fund to a $1,000,000 self-sustaining fund to help working parents in Shawnee County close the affordability gap on quality child care
